Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Serenity African Adventure. By booking a safari or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully as they form a legally binding agreement between you (the “client”) and Serenity African Adventure (the “company”).

1. Booking & Confirmation

  • All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or through our website
  • A deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to confirm your reservation.
  • The remaining 70% must be paid no later than 30 days before your safari start date.
  • Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

2. Payment Methods

We accept the following secure payment options:

  • Bank transfer (USD or local currency)
  • Credit/Debit Card (processed via a secure third-party gateway)
  • Mobile Money (where applicable)

All bank transfer fees and transaction charges must be borne by the client.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds will be made according to the following policy:

  • 60+ days before departure: 100% refund of deposit
  • 30–59 days before departure: 50% refund of deposit
  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund

No refunds will be given for no-shows, late arrivals, or unused services.

Note: Accommodation and third-party service provider refund policies may differ. We will do our best to recover non-refundable fees but cannot guarantee full refunds.

4. Amendments and Changes

  • Any requested changes to itinerary after booking will be accommodated where possible but may incur additional costs.
  • Serenity African Adventure reserves the right to alter the itinerary, accommodation, or transport in response to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, national park closures or safety risks.

5. Travel Insurance

Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellation
  • Medical expenses
  • Personal injury
  • Emergency evacuation
  • Loss or theft of personal belongings

We will not be held liable for losses due to lack of insurance coverage.

6. Health & Safety

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you are medically fit for the trip and have received any recommended vaccinations.
  • Clients must disclose any allergies, dietary needs, or medical conditions at the time of booking.

7. Liability & Disclaimer

Serenity African Adventure shall not be held liable for:

  • Injury, illness, or death during the safari
  • Loss or damage to personal property
  • Acts of God, natural disasters, political unrest, or delays beyond our control

We act only as agents for hotels, lodges, transport companies, and other service providers and shall not be held responsible for their acts or omissions.

8. Passports & Visas

  • All clients must hold a valid passport with at least six months’ validity beyond the date of departure.
  • Clients are responsible for obtaining their own entry visas to Tanzania or any other countries included in their itinerary.

9. Wildlife & Environment

While we make every effort to ensure excellent wildlife sightings, we cannot guarantee
specific animal sightings. All safaris take place in natural environments and clients must
respect park rules, guides’ instructions and the local environment.

10. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

  • Any dissatisfaction should be reported immediately to your guide or trip co-ordinatorso it can be resolved promptly.
  • If not resolved on the ground, written complaints must be submitted within 14 days of trip completion.
  • In case of legal dispute, Tanzanian law shall apply and the venue of jurisdiction shall be Arusha, Tanzania.

11. Use of Images & Testimonials

Serenity African Adventure may use photographs or reviews submitted by clients for marketing purposes, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
